Please Spring Come Soon!I know you are there. I know you can hear us all asking for you to hurry up and get here. I love snow as much as my kids do but come on!!! Even the birds are confused!I guess we are meant to hibernate a little bit longer. That's o.k. To be honest I am not done with cosy pjs, fuzzy blankets and warm tea. (speaking of tea-I found the most amazing tea last month and promptly ordered it into the centre! It is incredible!-more on that below) Last Fall, I brought my hammock inside-stand and all so that I would actually use it  and it was the best thing I have ever done. There is something so healing about being cocooned and held in a hammock.To be completely honest, the past 6 months for me has been incredible, and amazing and really, really tough. I've had my stuffing knocked out of me a few times. I have had to get up and stand up and keep going even when I haven't wanted to, and when I didn't have the strength. I had to lean on my dear friends and family for support. I had to use every single tool in my 'energetic' tool box. I know I'm not the only one feeling it. I know many of you have been faced with challenges this past year, some seeming insurmountable. But it IS refreshing to know that you are not alone and that a new day will dawn, and Spring will arrive, even if it feels we are still in winter's grip.My advice is to use these last few days of winter to finish your nesting, and relaxing, and getting organized, because when Spring gets here it is going to need you to be energized and up and ready to go. I can feel the momentum of it building already. We will be shifting and moving and grooving. Now is the time to catch that extra nap!Speaking of moving and grooving, our wonderful RMT Kim Keresturi recently completed her facilitator training in Dance Our Way Home and a few of us have been very fortunate to experience this beautiful healing through movement. She will be offering these events in future in our new space so stay tuned! More information on DOWH is in this newsletter.Also Did you know we are 6 years old in April? Time sure does fly! We will be having an Open House at the end of the month on April 25th & 26th to celebrate! Please join us for the fun and festivities. We have had many new exciting things happen at Circle of Light over the last few years and there are many many more to come!If you have had a difficult winter please accept my virtual hug! I hope to see you soon. I am wishing for a Spring and Summer of Lighthearted Joy & Ease for Everyone! I know the power of group consciousness in shifting energy ~ so if you are all with me on that wish~ then I know we can make it happen!A daily practice of meditation is so important to help stay balanced in the times of change. NEW Energy Exchange Program Calling All Volunteers!We have decided to adopt the beautiful Energy Exchange Program most yoga studios have in place. We love the idea of sharing our time and resources with one another.Those of you who have spare time can volunteer can earn credits with us at the Circle of Light to redeem towards services and classes. We are currently looking for volunteers (Earth Angels) to help with light cleaning and to help with the gardens and the property maintenance.If you are interested please email us HERE

Calling All Circle of Light Graduates!Have You Taken Reiki or IET With Us?We are looking for Circle of Light® graduates who have taken Reiki or IET® with us, who would like to gain valuable experience through volunteering by giving the public Reiki at a discounted rate, or taking part in our Free Reiki Days for cancer patients.We take care of the booking and providing the space and the people. You just show up and do what you do best-the Reiki! If you are interested in gaining more experience giving Reiki, collecting volunteer hours, expanding your practice, being part of an established Reiki centre, and this interests you, please email us HERE. We will see how many students are interested then we will set a date for an information session to answer any and all questions and explain how it will work.Our Free Reiki For Cancer Patients has been going strong for several years but we are looking to expand it to offer more sessions.Other Opportunities for COL® GraduatesAlso anyone who has taken Reiki, IET®, or Axiatonal Re-Alignment Certification Training with Circle of Light® will be eligible to be listed on our Practitioner and Teacher Directory which will be coming this summer.
